This statement is jointly issued by ArdinGate LLC (ardingate.com) and ArdinGate Studios LLC (studios.ardingate.com) and applies to both websites and the mobile applications we develop.
ArdinGate is committed to making its websites and mobile applications accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time checklist.
Our target conformance level is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Where practical, we also reference WCAG 2.2 AA and the updated U.S. Department of Justice guidance on digital accessibility under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (effective April 2024 for state and local governments; referenced as a best-practice signal for private-sector digital content).
Despite our best efforts, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas where we are actively working to improve include:
Our sites are tested against current versions of the following assistive technologies and browsers:
We do not rely on a third-party accessibility overlay or widget as a substitute for accessible design. Overlays may assist some users but do not remediate underlying barriers and are not a complete solution, consistent with guidance issued by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2022 and by disability advocacy organizations.
If you encounter a barrier on our sites, need a document in an alternative format, or have suggestions to help us improve, please let us know:
We acknowledge accessibility requests within five (5) business days and aim to respond substantively within fifteen (15) business days. If a fix will take longer than that, we will let you know the expected timeline and offer an alternative way to access the information or complete the task in the meantime.
Mobile applications developed by ArdinGate Studios target Apple's iOS accessibility guidelines and Google's Android accessibility guidelines, including support for VoiceOver, TalkBack, Dynamic Type, and Dark Mode. Application-specific accessibility statements may be provided inside each app where applicable.
Where ArdinGate designs or develops a website for a client, we work with the client to implement accessibility best practices at launch. After launch, accessibility compliance becomes the client's responsibility unless addressed by a separate maintenance agreement. Requests for remediation of client-owned sites should first be directed to the site owner.
This statement is provided voluntarily as part of our commitment to inclusive design. Nothing in this statement constitutes a waiver of any legal right or remedy, or an admission of non-compliance with any law. ArdinGate will comply with applicable accessibility obligations under federal and state law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and state equivalents where applicable.
ArdinGate may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
